Kia K5 2024 Changes, Release Date, Specs – K5 midsize sedans for 2024 will feature an updated logo and new standard features across their entire line. The Kia K5 is one of the best-looking midsize sedans, even though the segment isn’t known for drawing admiring glances. Everlasting Silver, Passion Red Tintcoat, or Ebony Black are all options on the base LX. If you want anything other than Glacial White Pearl, you’ll need to add $445 for the Glacial White Pearl trim. On the LXS, Crystal Beige and Gravity Gray are available, while Wolf Gray and Sapphire Blue are available on the GT-Line. But Kia should have used more than one color at a time.
A beautiful, spacious, and clean interior are just some of the features found in this year’s 2024 Kia K5. High-quality materials, such as wood trimmings on the dashboard and doors enhance the vehicle’s appearance. Ambient interior lighting, heated and ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a wireless charging pad are some of the high-end interior options available on the K5. Because of its increased low-end torque and quieter operation, the K5’s 1.6-liter turbocharged engine replaces the Optima’s crude, normally aspirated basic engine. We couldn’t get our hands on the GT model until later this year, but we could get our hands on two varieties of the 1.6-liter base engine. Base engines from all three major Japanese automakers are comparable in power, but this engine does not feel like a powerhouse. The K5’s eight-speed transmission sets it apart. In contrast to CVTs, the new “box” shifts smoothly and rapidly. Although the K5 doesn’t come standard with a manual transmission, the eight-speed automatic offered by Kia is more fun to drive than the CVTs found in its competition.
Kia K5 2024 Release Date and Price
Starting at an MSRP of $23,490, the LX is cheaper than the Accord and Camry. The LXS costs $24,490; the GT-Line costs $25,390; and the EX costs $27,990. There is a $30,490 GT at the top of the range, which is significantly less expensive than the fully loaded Accord or Camry. AWD can be added for $2,100 on the LXS, while the GT-Line can be acquired for an extra $3,700, including the Premium Package on the GT-Line. All of these prices do not include Kia’s $965 destination charge.
