Design: Exterior and Interior

The 2025 Kia Carnival’s front and back ends look new from Kia’s EV line. The front face has a unique texture, and the headlights are more prominent and have LED strips that look like star maps. A star map LED strip that goes down into the hood connects the back headlights as well. For a better look, the trunk handle has been covered, and the bracket for the license plate has been moved to the lower lip.

There is also a new trim level for the 2025 Kia Carnival called Gravity. It has a blacked-out color scheme with dark chrome details on the door garnish, roof rails, C-pillar, and skid plates. The Gravity trim also has a different hood and wheels that make it look more powerful. A brand-new color choice, Ivory Silver, has been added to the range.

Kia hasn’t shown any pictures of the inside yet, but it will look a lot like the current model, which has a nice, roomy interior with room for eight people. The infotainment system in the 2025 Kia Carnival might also get some new features or changes. It already has a 12.3-inch tablet, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, and an entertainment system for the back seats.

Powertrain

The 2025 Kia Carnival will still have the same 3.5-liter V6 engine with 290 hp and 262 pound-ft of torque. It will be paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox and front-wheel drive. This engine runs smoothly and powerfully, and it gets good gas mileage of 19 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway.

The big news about the 2025 Kia Carnival is that it now comes with a hybrid version. It has a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine makes 227 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. This engine will be put together with an electric motor and a battery pack to make it more efficient and cut down on pollution. Kia hasn’t said how much gas the hybrid model will use or how far it can go on electricity alone, but we think it will be in the same league as the Toyota Sienna Hybrid, which gets 36 mpg combined and can go up to 12 miles on electricity alone.

Kia could also make a plug-in hybrid Carnival. This version would have a bigger battery pack and go farther on electric power alone. This would be a good choice for people who want to use less gas and leave less pollution behind.
