2024 Kia K5 Colors, Models, Price – K5 midsize sedans for 2024 will feature an updated logo and new standard features across their entire line. The K5’s beautiful exterior appearance isn’t the only thing that makes this automobile stand out. The 2024 Kia K5 is $23,690, but a sportier GT model with a 290-horsepower engine is also available. A 10.3-inch touchscreen and wireless device charging have been added to the 2024 K5’s GT-Line and above trims to keep the momentum rolling. Power-folding outside mirrors, a 360-degree camera, and front parking sensors are now standard on the GT or EX trims.
Even though Kia’s 2024 K5 is the brand’s newer midsize sedan model, it sold more than 30,000 units in its first year on sale. The Accord and Camry are the most popular vehicles. The GT edition of the 2017 Kia K5 has all the latest gizmos, feel-good amenities, and a fantastic guarantee.
The 2024 Kia K5 redesign
The Kia K5 is one of the best-looking midsize sedans, even though the segment isn’t known for drawing admiring glances. Although it’s longer and lower than the Optima, which it replaces, its attractiveness resides in the details. The wide tiger grille, dramatic LED DRLs, and full-width lighting at the back of the car look spectacular. With LED headlights, alloy wheels, and a Hyper Silver front grille on the base LX model, the GT trim level offers a more upscale appearance with custom wheels and parts shared with the GT-Line. Certain trims come with a panoramic sunroof and LED fog lamps.
When it comes to the colors, there’s a lot of variety. If you’re looking to make your Kia K5 stand out from the crowd, Gravity Gray and Ebony Black are two more subtle colors you can choose from. Everlasting Silver, Passion Red Tintcoat, or Ebony Black are all options on the base LX. If you want anything other than Glacial White Pearl, you’ll need to add $445 for the Glacial White Pearl trim. On the LXS, Crystal Beige and Gravity Gray are available, while Wolf Gray and Sapphire Blue are available on the GT-Line. But Kia should have used more than one color at a time.
A beautiful, spacious, and clean interior are just some of the features found in this year’s 2024 Kia K5. High-quality materials, such as wood trimmings on the dashboard and doors enhance the vehicle’s appearance. Like the Stinger and K900, this model has a glossy black plastic exterior and a horizontal design. High-quality materials are employed throughout the construction process.
Ambient interior lighting, heated and ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a wireless charging pad are some of the high-end interior options available on the K5. Above the dashboard’s unusual horizontal vents, a floating infotainment display hovers. Underneath the vents, the climate controls are easily accessible. It comes with a new flat-bottom steering wheel that has a lot of different features, as well.
Because of its increased low-end torque and quieter operation, the K5’s 1.6-liter turbocharged engine replaces the Optima’s crude, normally aspirated basic engine. Most grades come with this engine, which produces 180 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. The transmission is an eight-speed automatic. In terms of power and torque, the 2.5-liter turbocharged engine in the GT is more potent than the Honda Accord. The eight-speed “wet” dual-clutch transmission developed in-house by Kia enhances this model’s athletic character. It claims to be able to make quick and smooth transitions.
We couldn’t get our hands on the GT model until later this year, but we could get our hands on two varieties of the 1.6-liter base engine. Base engines from all three major Japanese automakers are comparable in power, but this engine does not feel like a powerhouse. The K5’s eight-speed transmission sets it apart. In contrast to CVTs, the new “box” shifts smoothly and rapidly. Although the K5 doesn’t come standard with a manual transmission, the eight-speed automatic offered by Kia is more fun to drive than the CVTs found in its competition.
